Changing your Steam ID itself isn't possible since it's a unique identifier for your account used by Steam internally. However, you can change your Steam profile name anytime you want! Just head to your Steam profile, click 'Edit Profile' on the right side, and enter a new profile name. This doesn't change your Steam ID, but it changes how your name displays to friends and in games, which is what most people see.

Nope, can't change the Steam ID, it's locked in forever. But you can change your display name to keep things fresh.

Tried changing my Steam ID once, realized you can't. But changing my profile name did the trick for what I needed. Just go to your profile and hit 'Edit Profile,' super easy.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
