It's super easy! Just open up Steam and click on your username at the top right corner to go to your profile. Then click on 'Edit Profile' and you'll see a field to change your Profile Name. Hit 'Save Changes' and bam, new nickname!

Honestly, just keep it simple. Open Steam, profile, 'Edit Profile,' change name, save. Done.
