For Xbox and PlayStation, you’re outta luck! Experimental mode is only available on PC via Steam.

Took me a bit to figure this out, but you gotta right-click Subnautica in Steam Library > Properties > Betas tab > Select 'experimental'. Enjoy the buggy goodness!
