Changing your targeting mode in GTA Online is super easy! Just hit the escape key to bring up the main menu, head over to 'Settings', then 'Controls', and look for 'Targeting Mode'. From there, you can switch between Free Aim, Assisted Aiming, and Traditional GTA, depending on what you prefer. Remember, you gotta make these changes in Story Mode or before joining a session, as the game locks the settings once you're online with others.

Hot take: Just stick to 'Free Aim' for the real challenge and skill showcase. Why bother changing?

Honestly, had to learn this the hard way, but you can't change targeting modes while in an Online session. I tried and got confused why it wasn't working. Make sure you're in Story Mode or before hopping into Online. Makes a world of difference in matches.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
