To change teams in MLB The Show 21, hop into Franchise mode, select the 'Options' tab, and choose 'Team Settings' to switch teams. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

From my experience, you should request a trade if you're in Road to the Show mode. Just keep performing well and be patient.

Just start a new Road to the Show career and select your desired team during the setup process. Good luck with your new squad!

You can't change teams in the middle of a season in Franchise mode. Gotta wait till the off-season to make the switch.
