How to change the currency on Steam
AffordingAggie路7 months agoChanging your currency on Steam isn't as straightforward as clicking a button, unfortunately. Steam sets your currency based on the country your account is in. So, if you need to change your currency, you'll have to change your store country. You can do this by updating your Store Country in the account settings. Just go to 'Account Details' and click on 'Update Store Country'. You'll need to use a payment method that matches the country you're changing to, though!

Simple answer? Move. Steam decides your currency by your country. So, if you're not actually moving, it's kinda stuck as is.
Steam auto-assigns currency based on location, for better or worse. Had to update mine when I moved to Japan. A bit of a hassle with needing a local payment method to confirm, but smooth sailing once done!
