Basically, Sony doesn't let you switch Family Managers. You'll have to disband the current family and create a new one with the desired Family Manager. Annoying, I know!

In my experience, the only way to change the Family Manager on a PS4 is to delete the entire family and start from scratch. So, back up any settings you need!

Hot take: Just create a new family. Sony's rules, not ours.

You can't directly change the family manager on PS4. You need to delete the family and then set up a new one with a different Family Manager. Go to Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management > Family Management and follow the instructions to delete the family.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
