Actually, some Hot Wheels change color with temperature changes! They're called Color Shifters. Just dip them in warm or cold water, and watch them change right before your eyes. No paint needed!

Changing the color of a Hot Wheels car can be a fun DIY project! You'll need to start by disassembling the car cautiously to avoid any damage. Then, strip off the original paint with paint stripper suitable for metal. Once it's all cleaned up, apply a primer to help the new paint stick better. After priming, you can spray paint it with the color of your choice. Make sure to finish it off with a clear coat to protect the paint job. Take your time and have fun customizing!

Just dunk it in paint, lol. (But seriously, if you want a good job done, follow the detailed steps others have mentioned.)
