Straight to the point: boot up the game, hit 'Continue,' tell Isabelle 'I need help first...,' and then just tap 'Set the time.' Time travel has never been simpler.

Changing the time in ACNL totally messes with the vibe. It's a game meant to be experienced in real-time sync with your life. Jumping around time just ain't the way it was meant to be played, IMO.

To adjust the time in ACNL, you gotta tap on the game icon from your Nintendo 3DS home menu. Once you hit start, instead of launching the game right away, select “Continue.” Isabelle will greet you, and that’s when you hit her up with the 'I need help first...' option. There, you'll find the magical 'Set the time' option, and boom! You're the master of time.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
