Changing to nighttime in Hogwarts Legacy isn't like flipping a light switch, but it's still pretty easy. The game follows a day-night cycle that's based on your progress and actions in the game. However, you can make it night faster by advancing time through resting in the Room of Requirement. Just find a conjuring table, and there should be an option to wait, allowing you to skip time forward until it's night.
To speed up to nighttime in Hogwarts Legacy, I just head to the Room of Requirement. Last night, I wanted to explore the castle under the moonlight, so I used the conjuring table to advance time. Super easy and it adds to the whole experience, making the game even more magical!
