Um, why would you need to change the update location? Just let it update where it's installed. Keeps life simple.

Changing your update location in Valorant might seem like a task for a tech wizard, but it's actually quite simple! Just head over to the Riot Client and before you hit the 'Update' button for Valorant, click on the settings icon. There you have an option to 'Manage Games'. Click on Valorant and you'll see the option to change the installation path. That's your ticket to updating the game in whatever corner of your PC you wish it to reside!

No way to directly change update location. Valorant updates through its client & doesn't offer a direct option to change where these updates download. Your best bet? Change the installation path of the whole game to your preferred location. It's all or nothing, folks!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
