First, make sure you completely close out of Valorant and the Riot Games client. Then, go to the original installation folder, cut the entire 'Valorant' folder, and paste it into your new desired location. After moving the folder, you'll need to open the Riot Games client, navigate to 'Settings', and under 'Game', change the game directory to the new location. This should help your client recognize the new folder location without needing to reinstall!

Just drag and drop the folder to where you want it, then tell the Riot client where it went. Easy.

Honestly, it's not worth the hassle. Why move it when you can just leave things be and avoid potential issues?

I moved my game once. Make sure you've got the path right in the Riot client settings after, or it'll act like the game's gone missing. Speaking from experience here. And double-check you're not moving it to a slower drive; made that mistake and loading times were painful until I switched it back.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
