Changing your status to 'Away' in Valorant isn't as straightforward as you might hope, cuz Riot hasn't added a direct button for it. But, a neat trick is to 'Alt+Tab' out of the game and stay idle. Eventually, the game will automatically set your status to 'Away' if you're not actively playing. It's a bit of a workaround but gets the job done!

Why bother changing to 'Away'? Just dive in and play, or close the game if you're busy. Valorant's all about the action!

Actually, there's no manual setting to flip your status to 'Away' in Valorant. You just gotta stop interacting with the game for a bit, and it'll switch to 'Away' on its own. So, just take a snack break and let Valorant do its thing.

Honestly, it's a missed opportunity by Riot not to include a simple 'Away' button. Every time I gotta go AFK, I either look like I'm ignoring my friends or still ready to play. A bit annoying if you ask me.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
