Changing your door's wreath in Animal Crossing is pretty simple! Just open your inventory, select the wreath you want to hang, and choose the option to hang it on the door. If you're standing close enough to your house's door, it should pop right up on your door. You can change it anytime with any wreath you have in your inventory.
