Did this happen to me because I accidentally changed the setting to something like Klingon? Yes. Go to Facebook settings, look for the language globe, and you're back to English!
If your Facebook is in a language you don't understand, look for the globe icon in the settings section. Click it and pick 'English'. Problem solved!
