From my experience, the easiest way is to equip a skin of the gender you prefer in your Locker. Fortnite keeps things straightforward!
You can't actually change the gender of a specific skin, but you can always choose a different skin from the Item Shop or Battle Pass that fits the gender you want.
It's simple! Just choose a character/skin of the other gender in the Locker. No magic spells required!
