How to change your GTA character
Actually, I think changing characters in GTA isn't worth the hassle. You lose more than you gain, especially if you've invested a lot of time building up your character's stats and bank.

Just hit pause, go to 'Online', and select 'Swap Character'. Easy peasy. But remember, each character has their own progress and stats, so choose wisely!
I changed my GTA character once and regretted it. Lost progress but hey, the new character did give the game a fresh feel. So, it's a mixed bag.
Changing your character in GTA is all about the game version you're playing.
