How to Change Your License Plate in GTA Without iFruit
Unfortunately, in Grand Theft Auto, the most straightforward way to customize your license plate is through the iFruit app. However, you can still enjoy the vast array of other customization options available in the game's many mod shops. You can change almost everything else about your car but, without iFruit, the license plate customization is off the table. It's a bummer, I know!

Direct plate change? No go without iFruit. But, here's a workaround: if you're on PC, there are some mods out there that might let you tweak your plate among other things. Just be cautious, mods can be a bit of a wild west, and not all servers take kindly to them.
I remember reading somewhere that in GTA Online, you could sort of 'glitch' your way into a new plate by transferring vehicles between characters. Not exactly by-the-book, and it's hit or miss. So, my firsthand experience? Tried it once, ended up spending more time than I鈥檇 like to admit, and still had the same plate. Would not recommend unless you鈥檝e got time to kill and patience to match.
GTA purists gonna hate me for this, but honestly, without iFruit, you're kinda stuck with the plate you got. Might as well embrace it and focus on outrunning the cops instead!
