Changing your name in Apex Legends on the PS4 isn't as direct as you might think! Since Apex Legends uses your PSN ID as your in-game name, you'll need to change your PSN ID. Head over to your PS4 settings, select 'Account Management', then 'Account Information', and finally 'Profile'. You'll find the option to change your Online ID there. Remember, your first change is free, but Sony will charge for subsequent changes, so choose wisely!

Just change your PSN ID, and it'll update in Apex too. Be careful though, changing IDs might affect some games.
