How to change your name in Apex Legends on Steam
To change your name in Apex Legends on Steam, you just need to change your Steam profile name. Open your Steam client, click on your profile name at the top right corner, then click 'View my profile'. Hit the 'Edit Profile' link on the right side, and there you can change your profile name. Once you're done, the new name should show up the next time you launch Apex Legends!

Hey, from experience, make sure your new Steam name isn't something you'll regret. Changed mine on a whim and it took a bit to realize it shows up in Apex Legends too. Easy to change it back though, just follow the steps for editing your profile name on Steam.

Just change your Steam name lol. That's all you gotta do. Apex uses whatever your current Steam profile name is, so once you update it there, you're all set in-game.
