Did it last week! Go to your profile, hit edit, and you can change your name right there. Took me like 2 seconds.

Changing your Steam name is super easy! Just open up Steam, click on your current username at the top right corner, and then go to 'View Profile.' From there, click on 'Edit Profile,' and you'll see a box where you can update your profile name. Hit 'Save Changes' and voilà, new name, new you!
