How to Change Your Number in Facebook
From my experience, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Personal Information > Contact Info. Add your new number and then remove the old one. Facebook makes it pretty simple!

Log in, hit the three horizontal lines, go to Settings, then Personal Information, and you鈥檒l see the option for Contact Info. Change your number here.
