From my experience, head to your profile, select 'Edit Profile,' then 'Change Profile Photo.' Pick an awesome pic and you're good to go!
Just tap on your current profile pic, then tap 'Edit Profile'. From there, choose 'Change Profile Photo' and pick your new pic. Easy peasy!
