Changing your Steam account username? Nope, can't do. It's like a tattoo, permanent. But changing your profile name is easy peasy. Just hit up your profile settings, and you can be 'xx_DragonSlayer_xx' or whatever floats your boat in no time.

Actually, I changed my profile name last week, super easy. Just go to your profile settings on Steam, and you can update your display name that everyone sees. Your account username, though, is like a social security number for Steam; it's yours for life.

Sorry to break it to ya, but you actually *can't* change your Steam account username. That thing's locked in once you create your account. But hey, you can still change your profile name anytime you want through your Steam profile settings, which is what people see anyway.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
