Changing your Steam username is super easy, but keep in mind you can't change your Steam account name, that's set in stone. What you can change is your profile name, which is what your friends and other gamers see. Just open up Steam, click on 'View' in the top menu, select 'Settings', go to the 'Friends' tab, and there you'll see a field to change your profile name. Hit 'OK' and voila, new identity!

Tried changing my Steam account name and learned the hard way that's a no-go. But, updating my profile name was easy. Definitely a nice way to refresh your gaming persona without the hassle of creating a new account.

Nah, you can't actually change your Steam account name itself, but updating your Steam profile name? Piece of cake. It's all in the settings, folks. Look for the 'Friends' tab.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
