You can't change your PSN username directly on the PS3. You need to do it on a PS4, PS5, or through the PlayStation website.

Just head to the PlayStation website, log in, and go to your account settings to change your username. Easy-peasy!

Honestly, the PS3 doesn't support it. You need newer hardware or the website.

I managed it by using my friend's PS4. Just logged in, went to settings, and changed it from there. Totally worked!
