I personally prefer using the Nintendo Switch Online app for chatting in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's way easier to type, and the voice chat feature is a game-changer when I'm playing with my friends. Feels like they're right there with me, even if we're miles apart!

To chat in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you've got a couple of options. If you're playing with friends online or locally, you can use the in-game chat feature by pressing the 'R' button to bring up the chat window. Type your message using the on-screen keyboard, and boom, you're chatting! For a more seamless experience, especially during those intense fishing competitions or when you're showing off your island, the Nintendo Switch Online app on your smartphone is super handy. Connect it with your game, and you can use your phone's keyboard or voice chat. No more slow typing!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
