For real-time chatting, the Nintendo Switch Online app is the way to go. Used it during a fishing tourney with friends, and it was way easier than pausing to type messages in-game. Plus, feeling your phone vibrate with each new message keeps the convo flowing.

Honestly, just use the in-game keyboard. The app's cool and all, but it feels like an extra step unless you're really into typing novels to your island pals.

To chat on Animal Crossing with your phone, you gotta use the Nintendo Switch Online app. First, download it from your app store, then link it to your Nintendo account that you use for Animal Crossing. Once you're in-game, open the app, select 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' and then use the keyboard to type out messages! It's super handy for when you're trying to plan your island or just wanna chat without putting down your Switch.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
