On the Facebook website, click the Messenger icon, then 'See all in Messenger'. Look on the left for 'More' and select 'Archived'.

Simple! Open Messenger, click on your profile pic at the top left, then go to 'Archived Chats'. Voila!
On a computer? Click Messenger, find 'More', then 'Archived'. Done and done!
Just tap on your profile pic in Messenger -> 'Archived Chats'. Kinda hidden but easy once you know it's there!
