Once a message is deleted on Facebook, it's gone for good, in most cases. But if you had notifications or email alerts, those might have a snippet of the text. So check your email inbox and notification settings!
Forget about it; deleted means deleted. Facebook doesn't bring back the ghosts of messages past.
