For nightmare missions, just keep an eye out for nodes with a red, fiery emblem on the star chart. Easy peasy!
From my experience, the easiest way is to swing by the star chart and check for nodes that look like they're on fire. Nightmare missions are literally lit!
Look at your active alerts in the navigation menu; nightmare missions are marked by a distinctive red flame icon.
Not worth it. Just stick to regular missions unless you enjoy suffering.
