You can find your friendship rank by heading to the character screen, selecting the character, and then checking the friendship rank bar at the bottom. It's not a hidden dragon ball, but close enough!

Click on a character's profile in the character selection screen, and you'll see the friendship rank displayed there. Easy peasy!
