How to Check Game Version on Steam
QuestioningVale路7 months agoChecking the game version on Steam is super easy! Just right-click the game in your library, select 'Properties,' then head over to the 'LOCAL FILES' tab and click on 'Browse'. Steam will open the game's local files on your computer, and from there, you can find the executable file (usually the name of the game or something very close to it), right-click it, select 'Properties,' then move to the 'Details' tab where you'll find the version number.

IDK why everyone makes it so complicated. Just Google the game's current version LOL. Much faster.
Just go to your game library, right-click the game, hit 'Properties,' then 'LOCAL FILES,' and 'Browse local files.' The version number is usually in the .exe file properties under 'Details.'
In my experience, some games display their version number right in the Steam library under the game's title. If not, the 'Properties' -> 'LOCAL FILES' -> 'Browse local files' trick works, but honestly, who has time for that? Just check the game's main menu or settings; most games list their version there.
