Just head to your inventory and look at the top right corner! It'll show you how many slots you have left.

Open your inventory from the main menu, then click on 'Warframes' or 'Weapons' to see the available slots displayed at the top. Easy peasy!

I always check mine by going to the Arsenal, then managing equipment. Slots are displayed there.
