How to Check if My Pokemon Cards Are Real
HatchellingCalm·7 months agoFirst up, check the card texture and color. Real Pokemon cards have a distinct smooth feel and the colors are vibrant, not dull. The border should be a crisp, clean white without discoloration. Also, look at the card under a light; if it's real, you'll see a layer of black ink which is a security feature. Another pro tip is to look at the card text and font closely, as fake cards often have typos and the font might slightly differ from the official one. Lastly, the holographic pattern on real cards is pretty hard to replicate, so if it looks off, you might have a fake.

Honestly, if it feels too glossy or too flimsy, it's probably fake. I've had my share of fakes, and once you touch enough real ones, you just know.
