First up, check the rarity symbol! Usually found at the bottom of the card - a circle means common, a diamond is uncommon, and a star is rare. If you've got a shiny holographic card, that's often a sign it could be worth more. Also, check out websites like TCGplayer or eBay to see what similar cards are selling for. Condition matters a lot too, so keep those cards in tip-top shape!

Use an app or a website! There are awesome tools out there designed just for checking the value of Pokemon cards. Look up the card name, set, and number, and boom, you'll get an idea of what it's going for.

Star symbol doesn鈥檛 always mean $$$, ok? Some common cards with good abilities are worth more than some rare cards. It's all about the meta.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
