Go to the Pokémon menu, select the one you want, and press 'Set as Buddy.' Simple as that!

Open the Pokemon GO app, tap your Trainer's face at the bottom left, then select the 'Buddy' tab. Choose your favorite Pokemon, and you're good to go!

Pick a buddy that you really like or one that you want candy from to evolve or power up. Some players choose strong Pokemon for battling, others pick their favorites for the feels!

To choose a buddy, go to your profile, click on the buddy section, and follow the prompts to pick any of your Pokemon. I always choose Pikachu because, well, Pikachu!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
