Choosing a server in Valorant isn't like picking what socks to wear - you can't do it directly from the game's menu. You're automatically assigned to the nearest server based on your IP address to minimize latency. However, if you're looking to play with friends on a different region's server, one workaround is to create a new Riot account while using a VPN set to the country of the server you want to join. Just remember, playing on a distant server might increase your ping, making those headshots a bit harder to land!

Actually, you can't just switch servers on a whim in Valorant. The game decides for you based on your location to keep the game smooth. If you're trying to game the system to play with friends abroad, maybe consider scheduling a LAN party instead?

Quick tip: Your best bet is to stick with the server Valorant picks for you. Playing on a server far away might sound fun until you're lagging behind everyone else.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
