To chop a tree in Animal Crossing, first, you'll need to get yourself an axe. Not just any axe though, the Flimsy Axe won't do the trick if you want to completely remove the tree; you need a Stone Axe or a regular Axe. Once you've got your hands on the right axe, just walk up to the tree you want to say goodbye to, and start swinging! Three hits and timber, that tree's coming down. Just make sure you've decided it really needs to go - once it's chopped, it's gone for good (unless you plant a new one)!

Just whack it thrice with an axe! Stone or regular works best.

Actually, keep in mind that chopping trees is a significant decision in Animal Crossing. It affects the environment and aesthetics of your island. Sometimes, it's better to move a tree using fruit power instead of chopping it down. Always consider the impact on your island's vibe!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
