Seriously, don't overthink it. Go to the shop in the Pokemon GO app and enter your code at the bottom under 'Promos'. Done.

From experience, you need to go to the Shop in the app, scroll down to 'Promos,' and enter the code there. Once redeemed, the items will appear in your inventory!
