Dust it regularly with a microfiber cloth and use canned air to get the dust out of the vents. Works like a charm for me!
Take a dry microfiber cloth and wipe it down gently. Use compressed air for the vents and ports. Never use any liquids or solvents, just keep it dry and gentle.
Just use a damp cloth, but make sure it's unplugged first. Less is more with electronics!
