First off, don't panic! To clean black gunk off your precious Pokemon cards, you'll wanna start gentle. A soft, dry microfiber cloth is your best friend here - gently rub the gunk away. If that doesn't work, slightly dampen the cloth with water and try again. Remember, water and cards aren't besties, so keep it minimal. Lastly, if the gunk is stubborn, a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab can help, but be super careful not to soak the card or rub too hard.

Just put 'em in the dishwasher, lol jk. Seriously, don't. A bit of rubbing alcohol on a q-tip works wonders, but gentle is the game. Don't rub too hard, or you'll be crying over a smeared Pikachu.

Honestly, I accidentally spilled soda on one of mine and after panicking, I lightly dabbed at it with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Worked like a charm, but I wouldn't recommend experimenting with soda as a cleaning method. The key is patience and a gentle hand.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
