Grab a can of compressed air and gently blow out the dust from the vents and ports. Also, use a soft brush to remove stubborn dust from the fan area.

Open up the PS3 if you feel confident with a little DIY. Use an air blower and a microfiber cloth to carefully clean the internals. Just make sure you're grounded to avoid static damage!

Compressed air is your best friend to blow out dust from the external vents. If you feel adventurous, you can disassemble the console for a deeper clean, but be careful!

Use a vacuum cleaner's brush attachment on low power to suck out the dust from the vents. Avoid letting the nozzle touch any components directly.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
