What I do: unplug the PS4, unscrew the back, and give the fan a good blast with some compressed air. Don't go too hard though, you don't want to damage anything!

First, unplug and turn off your PS4 completely. Then, use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws on the back of the console. Carefully take off the cover, exposing the fan. Use compressed air to blow out the dust from the fan and internal components. Reassemble the console and enjoy your dust-free gaming!

Just a quick tip: always use compressed air and not a vacuum cleaner. Vacuums can create static that could harm your PS4.

Honestly, just buy a can of compressed air and blast the fan. Don't overthink it!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
