Honestly, I wouldn't wet them at all. A dry microfiber cloth works fine for dust and light dirt. Water risks damage, especially if you don't dry them properly.

The best way to clean your Pokemon cards and keep 'em in tip-top shape is to gently wipe them with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. This removes dust without scratching. If they're really grimy, slightly dampen the cloth with water (no harsh chemicals!), and gently wipe the card. Always let them dry completely before storing.
