Turn off and unplug your Xbox Series X. Then, use a soft brush to gently clean the vents. Finally, wipe the surface with a damp (not wet!) cloth.

Use a can of compressed air to blow out dust from the vents. Just make sure to hold it upright to avoid moisture. I also found a microfiber cloth works wonders for wiping down the exterior!

Get a small vacuum designed for electronics. Use it to carefully suck out the dust from the vents. No need to open anything up!
