On Android, head to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage, and tap 'Clear Cache'. iPhone users have it a bit tougher, since iOS doesn't offer cache clearing directly. Try logging out of Instagram and logging back in, or reinstall the app to wipe that cache clean!
I've been doing that trick where you log out and log back in to clear the cache, but let me tell ya, nothing beats a fresh reinstallation!
