Another quick way to reclaim some of that 'Other' storage is to use the built-in SteamOS tools. Go to the System Settings > Storage and look for the option to manage storage. Steam Deck often categorizes files it can't recognize as 'Other', so if you see anything you don't recognize or use, it's safe to delete.

To free up space in the 'Other' storage on your Steam Deck, start by checking for unnecessary files in your Download folder. Sometimes, games and updates leave behind residual files. Also, dive into your Steam settings and clear the download cache, which might be hogging space. If you've dabbled in any emulation, check those folders for any ROMs or save files you don't need anymore. Lastly, consider deleting unused game files or mods in your Steam library through the Properties > Local Files menu.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
