To climb buildings in XCOM 2 on PS4, just move your cursor over the edge of the building, and press X to have your soldier climb up. Easy peasy!

Just move your cursor over the side of the building where there's a yellow icon. Press X, and boom, you're on the rooftop. Happy climbing!
