Deleting your Instagram account is the nuclear option; you won't get your photos, videos, or followers back. Just saying!
If you're just looking for a break, you can temporarily disable your account by going to 'Edit Profile' and selecting 'Temporarily disable my account.'
From my experience: go to Instagram's delete page, follow the prompts, and you'll be off the grid in no time!
